Secondary Throttle port
BASTRA Engineering is able to control charge motion by a new variable intake port with "secondary throttle" application.
The secondary throttle is designed in order to close one of two intake ports of the engine for better combustion efficiency in part-load conditions.
Special attention is given to shape and position of throttle geometry having important impact on fuel injectors spray and mixing. In addition, the design is optimised for reducing flow losses at full-load condition.
