PTB test bench
What is it about?
The PTB test bench measures the backpressure (BP) of exhaust and intake silencers for 2- and 4-wheeler, like motorbikes, scooters, ATV, UTV and Automobiles.
The backpressure versus mass flow gives information about the flow resistance inside the silencer, which is related to the engine performance.
How does the PTB work?
Just easy like that: place the silencer on the bench, connect the hose with adapter to the silencer and start the measurement guided by the PTB user GUI software: “everything is done in few minutes – from set-up to display of the result”.
The PTB can be used in the Design Process of silencers, as well as for the Quality Control in the Production.
